DMAC Security LLC, a security firm based in Baltimore is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Accounting manager. This position will assume responsibility for maintaining the company’s finances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Working to implement effective financial procedures.
- Prepare weekly reports for in-house review (I.E. Billing vs scheduled hours, Overtime, P&L.)
- Administering Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable operations, routinely reviewing data to confirm accuracy, confirm correct procedural adherence, ensure proper payments are submitted and received, and resolve delinquent accounts.
- Invoice Weekly or Monthly to customers
- Overseeing, preparing, and running Payroll and Benefits distribution.
- Communicating with Financial Institutions and other external resources.
- Analyzing financial data, conducting research, and generating reports.
- Enter, download, and post monthly transactions and monthly bank reconciliations
- Prepare and process payments of state and federal tax withholdings.
- Oversees independent financial statements audit by coordinating audit procedures with external auditors
- Prepare quarterly and annual payroll tax forms. Including but not limited to W-2, 941, 940, MD Unemployment, and 1099.
- Provide and ensure efficient, accurate, quality service to internal and external contacts.
Experience and Requirements:
- 3-5 years in Finance or Accounting
- Thorough knowledge and familiarity with bookkeeping practices and procedures.
- Highly methodical and efficient.
- Goal-driven and detail-oriented.
- Capable of multitasking with good time management skills.
- Professional and amiable manner.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively and professionally.
- Proficiency and experience using the Gsuite version of MS Office (Excel and Word).
- Advanced proficiency and experience using QuickBooks, Quickbooks Online, and ADP Payroll.
